Art as seen from Space
The German artist Alexander Luzius Ziermann has realised an installation called "Directions from above - Signed Landscapes" in the Namib desert in Namibia. The TerraSAR-X High Resolution SpotLight acquisition (1m resolution) recorded on 11 July 2010 shows that the installation is even detectable from space.
